Highlights from last weekend:
Friday: Breakthrough 2009. Great job with Breakthrough, VDH! Great job with C3, Evan and Rachel! Great job with Vanguards Crew, Evan! Then briefly went to Save Tommy Night, but most of the goodies had already been taken. Then wingman-ed Bryant at APASA’s Winter Formal, entitled “Rock With You.” Apparently, it was a Michael Jackson theme. Woot!

Expandable transformable table
Pressed for space? This table is not only expandable, but also transformable. The entire thing is made of metal bars, a couple screws, painted oak, and laminate. Simplicity at its best.

Last weekend (11/14), my friend Alejandro flew up from Monterrey, Mexico.
Highlights from that weekend:
USC Football: 55-21 loss to Stanford. First home loss in 2 years. Pete Carroll’s first ever loss in November. Not even considered a shocking upset, as USC is now considered incapable of dominating the PAC-10. Enough said. It pains me to talk more about this.

The New Water Bottle
This is ingenious. Major props to Sarah Talho, who designed a water bottle enclosed in a special plastic skin. When the skin is on, it protects the contents of the bottle from the outside elements. Ugh. An update from the Halloween weekend
This just hasn’t been my weekend. Actually, last week wasn’t that great overall.
School-wise, I had a Molecular Bio midterm on Monday, an OChem lab exam on Wednesday, and two presentations on Thursday. That’s extremely tasking already.
